How To Put Iphone In Otterbox Defender

anybody knows why Otterbox abandoned iPad Mini 6 and refused to make a Defender case for it?

What leads you to believe that they have abandoned it and refuse to make one?

I don't see iPad Mini 6 on their website?

It's a new device - it may be that they just haven't made one yet. I certainly wouldn't jump to the conclusion you made at this point. You can try to ask them directly -

I did... they said "no"...

I have been using Otterbox for 10+ years and cases always come out at the same time as the phones. This is one of the rare few times in 10 years that they have nothing for a new iPad.

Could be their revenue projection model for the Mini 6 case are not enough to warrant the new design?

Probably this to a certain extent. I'm sure they'll wait for more emails/demand to see if it's worth making one.

I'm sure sales figures for the Mini 5 factored into their decision.

That's what I figured.....

kind of like how Speck is not making most of its usual cases for the iPhone 13 Mini....

Just contacted them to request it. I would really like a good standard clear case for my iPad mini.

I don't have my original inquiry, but essentially I emailed their CS and asked if they could make a clear case for the new mini. Here is their reply:
